In the days ahead, I will be sharing some of my favorite blogs and books to read for encouragment. This is my first blog, so temper the expectations. Hopefully, it will become a place of authentic conversation and encouragment. So, here goes...
The foundational verse of our church is Ephesians 2:10, which states, "For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God is prepared in advance for us to do."
What an encouraging and yet challenging verse of scripture. It follows the truth presented in verse 9 that our salvation is a gift of God received through faith. Many believers stop right there not recognizing that salvation is not the end in itself, but the doorway to a great life serving Christ!
